Hyderabad, July 8 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Mancherial, Nirmal and Nizamabad districts of Telangana on July 9, the Meteorological Centre here said on Friday.
Issuing a bulletin it said that heavy to very heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Jagityal, Rajanna Sirsilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Siddipet and Kamareddy districts the state during the next 48 hours till Sunday and also on July 11. Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in several districts of Telangana during the next five days till July 13. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at most places over Telangana during the same period.
Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are likely to occur at places in few districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours till Saturday.
Southwest Monsoon has been active over Telangana with heavy to very heavy rain occurring at isolated places in Khammam, Suryapet and heavy rain occurred at many places in Khammam, at a few places in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Suryapet and at isolated places in Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Narayanpet, Vikarabad districts.
Rain occurred at most places in Telangana over last 24 hours, the bulletin said.
