Kannur: 4 youths were held while smuggling drugs in a luxury car. 11 grams of methamphetamine and ganja were seized during the vehicle inspection at Killiantara Excise Check Post.
M. Shaheed, a native of Kozhikode Azhiyur, M Musammil, from Chokli Keermadam, CK Afzal, a native of Pookom, Panur, and C Afzal, fromTillankeri Kavuppadi were arrested while coming from Bangalore in a car.
While questioning the culprits, the excise have got crucial information about the gold smuggling groups and officials said that they will conduct a detailed investigation on this matter.
