Sensex advanced over 400 pts

Mumbai, July 18 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Monday rallied 418.15 pts at 54,178.93 as buying was seen across the board. The Nifty rose 128.10 pts at 16,177.30.
The sensex registered days high and low at 54,246.76 and 54,178.93 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered days high and low at 16,199.70 and 16,142.20 pts respectively.

The Mid Cap rose by 0.84 pc and Small Cap by 1.13 pc. In 30 scrips, 24 advanced while 6 declined.

The gainers were Tech Mahindra by 4.59 pc to Rs 1019, Infosys by 3.98 pc to Rs 1587.50, HCL Technology by 2.49 pc to Rs 905.05, Ultracemco by 2.43 pc to Rs 5947.30 and Wipro by 2.36 pc to Rs 403.15.

The losers were HDFC Bank by 1.55 pc to Rs 1342.65, HDFC by 1.12 pc to Rs 2191.30, M&M by 0.75 pc to Rs 1164.35 and Dr Reddy’s Lab by 0.20 pc to Rs 4532.90.
