Delhi: Lok Sabha has started its monsoon session commemorating Japan’s former PM Shinzo Abe. He was seriously injured in a gunshot and succumbed to death on July 8th. He was a leader who had maintained a great relation with India.
The nation had received extensive cooperation on its development under his leadership, said the Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu at the time of the commemoration.
“I have lost my intimate friend” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his letter was titled ‘my Abe san’.
The PM said, “He was an excellent administrator and strategist. The world has lost a great philosopher”. He talked emotionally about Abe while talking in the Arun Jaitley Memorial Speech.
The assembly also paid condolences to the president of UAE Saif Khalifa Bin zayed Al Nahyan and the 3rd president of Kenya Mwai Kibaki.
