Srinagar: Amarnath Pilgrimage have revived after a short break occurred due to the heavy rain and cloudburst. Around 5,469 pilgrims have left for the cave temple today from Bhagavathi Nagar base camp. Above this, the CRPF has arranged strict security for them.
The Pilgrims who are going to Balthal have started their journey earlier from the camp. 2558 people moved in 85 vehicles and later followed by 3091 people in 113 vehicles to Pahalgam.
The authorities informed that 1.85 lakh people visited the cave temple so far.
Meanwhile, 110,758 pilgrims have left for the valley from Bhagwati Nagar camp since June 29. The journey will end on 11 August on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
