Thrissur: On Tuesday evening, Pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the actor assault case 2017, was shifted to Thrissur Mental Health Centre from Ernakulam Sub Jail.
The hospital authorities have informed that the shift was a part of the treatment.
Suni has been in jail for the last 5 years. The Supreme Court had issued bail for all others in this case except Suni, due to the intensity of his crime. Suni had approached the court for a bail claiming that his health condition is bad. But the court rejected this on July 13th.
In the statement given to the police and later to the court, the actor stood firm on her allegations against Suni. SC said it cannot provide bail on such a case and directed to submit the petition to the High Court.
