New Delhi: The 68th National Film Awards will be announced today by 4 pm. The indications on films and artists who are entered in the final round of selection were out last day.
Around 30 Malayalam movies have reached before the jury this time. There are assumptions that Ayyappanum Koshiyum, the last movie directed by Sachi, would be the best Malayalam movie.
Other films considered in this category are The Great Indian Kitchen and Malik. Biju Menon is being considered for the Best Supporting Actor Award for his performance in Ayyappanum Koshiyum.
It is reported that Surya and Aparna Balamurali are being considered for the awards in the best actor and actress categories for their performances in Soorarai Pottru.
Bollywood star Ajay Devgan is also assumed to be on the list of the best actors.
