Palakkad: Actor Suresh Gopi has called Nanjiyamma, the national award winner for best female singer, over a video call and extended his greetings and joy on her achievement.
Suresh Gopi said that after Droupadi Murmu, it is Nanjiyamma’s name is the most reverberating in Indian discussions. Suresh invited her to come and stay in his home.
When she received the call, Nanjiyamma said she felt same like talking to director Sachi and Suresh Gopi is the first one who has called her through the video call.
The actor said that he will soon go and meet her and he also asked her to call PM directly. She said there are some issues for the mobile networks in her region and the actor assured her that he will talk to the BSNL authorities and ask them to take all necessary actions to rectify the issue.
