Thiruvananthapuram: From now, bills above 1000 Rs will not be accepted in the KSEB counters. Users should pay it online and KSEB asked their customer’s cooperation for this.

The decision is to facilitate complete digitization.

Currently, bills above 2000 Rs are being received through online platforms only.

The new decision has been taken with an aim to enhance the digital payment platform, which has found below 50 percent.

Meanwhile, the new decision might be a tough nut for those people who are not very familiar with using such online platforms earlier and it is observed that the authority will give time relaxation to such customers in order to get familiar with the new system.

KSEB also informed that they will soon discourage bill payments above 500 Rs over the counters.
