Kannur: Puthiya veettil Jimnesh, native of Panunda in Kannur, succumbed to death due to internal bleeding and injuries. Jimnesh was brutally beaten by CPM activists . He was taken to the hospital where he fainted and died.
CPM activists formed a group and attacked RSS workers while on their return after participating in ‘gurudakshina’. A Adarsh, P V Jishnu, T Akashay and K P Adarsh were soon taken and admitted in a private hospital, Thalassery.
Meanwhile, the injured RSS worker Penankimetta, Pinarayi Akshay’s house too was targeted by the CPM. Glass windows of the house was seriously damaged and the window glasses of the house were completely smashed.
The attacks of CPM activists against RSS workers are still continuing in Kannur. CPM party workers had also attacked RSS karyalay in Payyannur recently. Two CPM workers got arrested in the bomb hurling case.
