New Delhi: Central Government again rejected K-Rail. It has said that the K Rail cooperation is solely responsible for the survey that is being conducted by the state government and it would not be funded by the Ministry of Railway. Centre also clarified that the railway cooperation is an independent company. The railway board has informed their opinion in the High Court.
No special permission has been given to K-Rail for conducting the social impact study. And it is immature to conduct studies on the silver line project without permission. Though the Central Government has shares in Railway Cooperation, it has no involvement in their day-to-day activities.
The Ministry added saying that, if the State Government takes steps under the Land Acquisition Act, the Central Government cannot interfere in it.
