Onam exam to be conducted in August, says Education Minister

Thiruvananthapuram: State education minister V Sivankutty has announced that this year’s Onam exam will begin in the month of August.

The Minister clarified that the date of the first term exam in schools has been published and the exam will start on 24 August and end on 2 September. Following this, the school will be closed for vacation on 3 September and reopens on 12th.

Last day, the Government issued a circular with the time schedule of Higher Secondary entrance. As part of this, the plus one trial allotment will be held on 28 July. The first list of the allotment will be published on 3 August.

Classes will commence on 22 August.

Meanwhile the delay in CBSE and ICSE results led to the extension of higher secondary classes.
