Bengaluru: Two popular front terrorists were arrested in the murder of Yuva Morcha leader Praveen Nettaru. The arrested were identified as Zakir and Sheriff who are the natives of Sullia region.
They were arrested from Bellare, a border region of Kerala. As per reports, they were trying to escape to Kerala. They handed over the information to the murder gang.
The investigation of the Karnataka police focusing on the districts Kasaragod and Kannur is in progress. The arrest was registered by the Karnataka police.
Currently, fifteen SDPI, Popular front members are in police custody. A gang including Malayalees are being interrogated. The Bike seized in connection with the murder has Kerala registration. The police have found that the number plate of the bike was fake.
Zakir, who was arrested, is accused in several criminal cases.
Both will be taken to the court soon.
