Kochi: Asif Azadi, a native of Thiruvananthapuram district, has filed a petition in the Kerala High Court in the background of the incident in which the girl students were asked to remove their innerwear before appearing for the NEET exam.
The plea says that the central government should provide uniform protocol for the exam across the country. The physical examination prior to the exam would affect the children and adversely influence their memory capacity too.
The Chadayamangalam police filed a case and arrested five people including two teachers over this incident that took place on 18 July.
Parents complained that the girls were forced to remove their innerwear and sit with boys to write the exam. This affected them mentally and also reflected in their exam.
The controversial incident took place at Ayoor Marthoma college in Kollam district
The court will consider the petition on Friday.
