New Delhi: PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti continues making anti Indian statements.
As a nation that does not even have the leadership of the SAARC, it is better for India to forget the dream of becoming the viswaguru, said Mufti
SAARC is an association of countries including India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
The army should withdraw from Jammu Kashmir by declaring it as a peace zone. Jammu Kashmir and Pak occupied Kashmir (PoK) should be declared as SAARC cooperation zones. China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a connecting path of PoK to the outside world, Mehbooba demanded.
Her statements come up following India’s opposition to permit the membership of a third nation in the CPEC.
The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs marked its strong opposition against the decision of expanding the membership of more nations in CPEC and it also said that the PoK is a region that should come under the region of India.
External Affairs Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that the action is illegal and cannot be accepted at all.
