Thiruvananthapuram: Following the bomb threat messages received by the State, the authorities issued alert information and beefed up the security. The threat was that the malls and railway stations would be blasted within 12 hours.
The Nilagiri district collector and Munnar sub-inspector have received the threatening messages. In this background, the local police, railway police and secret investigation agencies were advised to be alert. The railway police should also take care to prevent attacks on the station premises and tourists centres are also advised to be cautious.
The threatening message has come from the number 9677501046 and the details on its source are yet to be found.
The police have started an investigation on the incident.
