New Delhi: Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu flagged off the MPs Tiranga bike Rally. The bike rally that starts from Red Fort will end in Lal Chowk near the Parliament. Mps from all parties have participated in the rally. The program is being organized by the ministry of culture.
The rally was organized in the background of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the 75th anniversary of Indian freedom. The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign has also been arranged as part of this.
The PM had announced to put the Indian flag as profile picture from 2 August, the birthdate of Pingali Venkayya, the founder of the Indian national flag, to 15 August.
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign aims to flag off the national flag in every house. Union Defence Minister Amit Shah has informed that above 20 crore people will raise Indian national flag.
