Palakkad: Two witnesses have turned hostile in the Attappadi Madhu murder case. Maruthan, the 24th witness is the one who turned hostile recently. Another witness Murukan, the 22nd witness in the case has also turned hostile during trial today. A total of 13 witnesses have turned hostile so far during the trial in the Special Court for Scheduled Castes and Tribes in Mannarkkad.
Sarasu, sister of Madhu, told that the accused are trying to influence the witnesses using all their means.
Madhu, a tribal youth of Kadukumanna in Attappadi was lynched to death by a crowd at Mukkali in Attappadi on 22 February in 2018.
