Thiruvananthapuram: KSRTC has cut down the ordinary services. The decision has been implemented to increase superclass services including fast passengers.
The ordinary services on Sundays will be completely stopped.
Due to the ongoing diesel crisis, KSRTC stopped the services from Kalpetta and Mananthavady depot today.
It is said that around half of the ordinary services are being cancelled across the state.
KSRTC has also informed that only half of the ordinary services will function tomorrow.
After the salary crisis, the management is facing additional burden due to the diesel shortage.
The diesel crisis led to a massive increase in the dues owed to the oil companies.
It is reported that the KSRTC has to pay 135 crore rupees as arrears to the oil companies.
