Gandhiji disclosed the power of truth and non-violence to the world, says Vice President in a visit to Kirti Mandir

Gandhi Nagar: Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu has visited Kirti Mandir, the birth place of Mahatma Gandhi, along with his wife Usha Naidu. Both of them visited the temples of Dwarka. They have received a warm welcome at the Jamnagar Air Force station by the Gujarat Governor Acharya Devavrath and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. They visited the Nageswar Jyotirlinga temple, the Dwaarakadeeksh temple at Dwarka and also the Kriti Mandira at Porbandar, the birth place of Mahatma Gandhi. People welcomed the Vice President by giving him the traditional clothes.

In the visitors book, Naidu wrote that everyone should visit the place and take inspiration from Gandhiji’s life. He clarifies that it is a great pleasure to visit the birth place of father of the nation and added that Gandhiji disclosed the value of truth and non-violence.

Naidu also posted the pictures of the visit on his Twitter page.

Naidu visit was on the same day of the election to the post of the Vice President. The competition is being held between NDA candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar and Joint opposition candidate Margaret Alva.
