Lashkar terrorist arrested in Kashmir; arms and ammunition recovered

Srinagar: A Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist has been arrested by the Indian Army in the Budgam area in Jammu and Kashmir.
The arrested terrorist has been identified as Arshid Ahmed Bhat, native of Budgam. 5 pistols, 5 catridges, 50 pistol rounds and 2 grenades have been recovered, informed the police.
Arms and ammunition were found in a joint operation conducted by the army and the police. Authorities have traced out several terrorists from Kulgam district recently.
Security has been beefed up ahead of Independence Day celebrations, said the officials.
