NewDelhi: Delhi Police has arrested 2 members of an inter-state gun supply gang. Punjab native Gagandeep Singh(21), Akash Deep were arrested by special team of Delhi police. 15 semi automatic pistol were found from the accused. Mobile phones and SIM cards used for illegal arms supply have been recovered.
They had a touch with the illegal gun dealers from Madhya Pradesh and they were also buying illegal guns from them, stated police. The accused were arrested on the basis of secret information. During interrogation they admitted that they were part of a gang that was supplying illegal guns . The accused also confessed of buying weapons from Deepak Barnala and Sohan Barnala from Sendhwa in Madhya Pradesh, Police said. The accused said that Deepak Barnala and Sohan Barnala were involved in illegal arms supply for years. They also revealed that they buy illegal pistols for Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000 each and sell them for Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 in Delhi and Punjab. Police informed that a case has been registered against them under several Sections.
