New Delhi: India’s 12th Defence Expo will take place at Gandhinagar in Gujarat. The war equipment of the Army, Navy and Air force will be displayed in the exhibition.
The programme that is being scheduled from 18 to 22 October has been named as ‘Path to Pride’.
The defence ministry said that the aim of the programme is to enhance patriotism, increase the thought of working for the nation and to encourage the participation of citizens in the process of nation building.
The officers said that in the five days programme, arranged at Sabarmati river front in Gujarat, the armed forces and DPSU will display their equipment and skills.
There will be many technical tools in the programme and it will also exhibit ventures similar to Bandhan.
In order to promote the Make in India initiative, there will be various start-ups, MSME equipment exhibition to enhance defence growth in the future, officials said.
The Defence Ministry said that the Defence Expo is the biggest event in the country. It aims to make India self sufficient by 2025 in coalition with many other companies.
