Patna: The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar has resigned. He reached Raj Bhavan and handed over his resignation letter to the Governor Phagu Chauhan. Nitish Kumar had announced his decision to resign after conducting meetings with JDU MPs and MLAs.
Nitish Kumar informed that he has ended up the alliance with the NDA. JDU’s move is to form the new Government with the help of RJD. Meanwhile, former LJP President Chirag Paswan demanded President’s rule in Bihar.
Union Minister V K Singh responded that as the CM has resigned, the state should go for an election. V K Singh slammed Nitish’s move and said, “15 years of RJD rule has regressed the state. Nitish Kumar himself had reiterated this fact so many times”.
