New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman desperately criticised Aravind Kejriwal on his opinion about the free allowances provided by the Government to the people. The Minister said that with such comments the AAP leader is trying to generate fear in the mind of the people.
After Independence, no expenses that were spent on the health and education of people were categorised or called as ‘free of cost’. By using the term ‘free’ Kejriwal is trying to create tension and fear, said the Minister
The central government had clarified before the Supreme Court that the allowances and offers from political parties held in the background of elections will lead the nation to a huge financial crisis. Kejriwal’s opinion came in the midst of the Supreme Court’s decision to form an expert committee to study the subject.
