New Delhi: August 15- The day commemorates the nation’s independence from the British rule, the day that reminds all the world of the valour of the courageous leaders of India, the day to pay tributes to each and every one of freedom fighters who dedicated their lives for the freedom of mother India, and a day to celebrate the spirit of tri colour.
‘Azadi ka amrut mahotsav’, is being celebrated across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the naton at 7.30 am. He will be addressinfg the nation from the ramparts of Red Fort, Delhi.
The Prime Ministerwill hoist the ‘Tiranga’ and then will address the nation, as per tradition. This will be his ninth Independence Day address from Red Fort.
The special way to remember the great warriors of our nation and to celebrate the freedom with a special feel of patriotism, the HarGharTiranga campaign, a movement to celebrate the 76th Independence Day with tri colour flag hoisted in all houses, is a great success.
