NewDelhi: The tricolor was hoisted on a satellite launched by Space Kids India 30 km above the earth. Along with this, footage of the national flag flying at a height of 1,06,000 feet as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was also released.
Space Kids India is an organization formed to create young scientists for the country and create awareness among children about space exploration. Recently 750 girls from across the country developed a satellite called Azadisat and launched it under the leadership of Space Kids India.
Ahead of the 76th Independence Day celebrations many events have been organized across India for the last one year. As part of this, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign called on by the Prime Minister was a huge success. The Tricolor flag was hoisted in crores of houses in the country.
