Kohima: Two soldiers from Assam Rifles got injured in an encounter from terrorist in Nagaland. They are admitted to hospital.
The incident happened this morning. The attack was carried out by terrorists belonging to the National Socialist Council of Nagaland, led by Young Aung, a banned terrorist organization. The attack took place in Mon, border district between Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. A 15-member terrorist group reached the Assam Rifles camp with weapons and opened fire. The Assam Rifles also retaliated strongly. Meanwhile, two army personnel were injured.
Both injured are admitted to Army hospital in Assam. A high alert has been issued in the border area of the district in the wake of the incident.
