Ernakulam: More evidence are out, regarding the connection between Monson Mavunkal, the accused in the archaeological fraud case and the police. He misused the police vehicle. IG Laxmana has widely given passes to Monson’s friends during Corona period. WhatsApp chats and phone conversations have came out.

Jaison, the former driver, revealed that the coconut were brought from Monson’s house in DIG’s car. Coconut and fish were braught in the official vehicle from Monson’s sister’s house, Cherthala. Jaison has handed over the evidence of this to Crime Branch.

It is also alleged that the passes for Monson’s friends were issued in the name of IG Lakshmana from his house in Kaloor. Meanwhile, there was a demand that the Archaeological fraud case should be handed over to the CBI. The crime branch had filed a report in the High Court in favor of the top police officials.

Crime branch’s investigation is inefficient. Top police officers and politicians are accused in the case. The Crime Branch has limitations to investigate. The new complaint says that many of the real accused have not yet been caught.
