New Delhi: Cricket player Muhammad Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan has requested to the PM to change the name of the nation from India to ‘Bharat’ or ‘Hindustan’.
Hasin expressed this wish through her Instagram page. Along this, she had shared a video in which she was dancing in accompaniment of a famous Bollywood song.
Our nation is our pride. I love Bharat. Our nation’s name should be changed to Bharat or Hindustan. The PM and the union home minister should consider this, said Hasin Jahan.
Meanwhile, many people have come up in support of Hasin’s statement.
Hasin and Muhammed Shami got married in 2014.
