Jammu: The National Investigation Agency said that the terrorist had a plan to attack Jammu and Kashmir. Most of the attacks were planned by the Resistance Front, with the support of terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, said NIA.
Arms and ammunition were being received from Lashkar-e-Taiba. Attacks have mostly targeted on minority populations, migrants and security forces.
Important information came out during the interrogation conducted by the NIA. The investigation agency stated that so far eight places in Jammu and Kashmir have been raided in the case. Documents and digital devices have been found during the search. In May, the Kathua police had registered a case following the discovery of arms and ammunition in Samba sector. Later in July, the case was handed over to the National Investigation Agency. Security forces and police have beefed up security in Jammu amid frequent attacks.
