Palakkad: Mannarkad court with a crucial order in Attapadi Madhu murder case in which the bail of the 12 accused were cancelled. The order was issued by Mannarkad SC/ST court. The accused had influenced the witnesses while they were on bail, clarified the court. With this, the bail cancellation order was issued.
Bail of accused 1, 4, 13 and 14 has been cancelled. The court’s action was to accept the prosecution’s request to cancel the bail application of all the 12 accused who had influenced the witnesses. During the trial, documents were submitted before the court about the influence of the accused on the witnesses. Considering this, the court decided to cancel the bail.
During the trial of the case, 13 witnesses turned hostile. When it became clear that this was due to the influence of the accused, the prosecution approached the court. The accused Marakkar, Shamsuddin, Najeeb and Sajeev influenced more witnesses.
