New Delhi: Police captured a person over spreading threats of terror attack in Mumbai. The Mumbai Traffic Police caught him from the Virar region. The suspect is being interrogated.
A WhatsApp message on terror attack was spread last day. It was received by the Mumbai police from a telephone number based in Pakistan. Since then, the police were in great alert.
The message says that the terrorist group consist of 6 members will conduct the attack.
The Mumbai police commissioner had taken the threat seriously and informed that they will strengthen the ‘Operation Sagar Kavach’ as part of ensuring security. He also said that the force will conduct investigation without disturbing the public. The suspect was arrested following an investigation after this.
They are also suspecting that the culprit has some connection with Pakistan.
