Srinagar: In a major development, the Border Security Force has foiled two attempts of suicide squad in last ten days in Rajouri. The intruders were planning to destroy army camp, said BSF.
The intruder, identified as Tabarak Husain is a member of fidyeen-suicide squad, from Pakistan. The army opened fire while a suspected movement was noticed and the intruder sustained injuries and taken to medical facility at Army Hospital Rajouri. Taberak Husain had apprehended the Line of Control and was handed over to Pakistan in 2016 , said the army official.
While lying wounded, the terrorist cried and shouted” I have come here to be killed. I have been cheated. Brother, please help me to get me out from here” .The army observed suspicious movements and opened fire while the terrorist was trying to infiltrate along the Line of Control in Jhaner belt of Nowshera sector.
The army has also found that the terrorist Tabarak Husain had been working for Pak terror group since two years. He was imprisoned in Indian jail for 26 months and later handed over to Pakistan as per bilateral agreement between India and Pakistan. The terrorist reached along the LoC after six months training from Lashkar.
“His body was shaved. This is normally done when preparing for a suicide attack”, said the BSF officer.
