New Delhi: ICMR scientist Dr Pranja Yadav has said that the rising monkeypox infection will not lead to the Human Immunodeficiency Virus. This has been discovered by an experiment conducted jointly by the Council of Medical Research Centre and the National Institute of Virology Department.
The scientists confirmed this after conducting several experiments on people who are affected with monkeypox disease. The vastly and quickly spreading monkey pox is not actually a threat to mankind. Scientists also said that the vaccination will provide 86 percent protection and coverage.
They said the Monkey Pox has a high chance of transmission from humans to dogs.
Many experiments are being conducted jointly by the Off Medical Research Centre and National Institute of Virology to increase the immunity of the human body. They are also trying to find out new viruses to overcome the diseases that appear due to the change in climates.
