New Delhi: Heavy rain continues to lash in the northern parts of the country affecting lives. At least 56 people have died due to floods and heavy rainfall. The maximum damage was reported from Himachal Pradesh where hundred of villages were ruined, roads flooded and houses swept away.
IMD has informed that rain will be continuing for two more days.
Squally wind has caused wide spread damage In Madhya Pradesh. Uprooted trees caused power outrage in several parts of the state.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a high-level meeting and evaluated the situation.
