Srinagar: Indian Security Forces defeated the attempt to infiltrate through the boundary of Jammu Kashmir. The encounter occurred in Rajouri, on the Line of Actual Control.
The incident took place at midnight, last day. The security forces noticed the culprits while they were trying to enter the boundary through Pukharni region in Naushera sector.
The culprits started firing when the security forces had tried to capture them and the forces also fired back.
Attempts to identify the deceased are being progressed and the security officers have received strict instructions to stay alert in the border region.
