New Delhi: Do not send files without the signature of the Chief Minister, said V K Saxena, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. He instructed Kejriwal to send the files again after putting signature on it.
In the absence of the signature, it cannot identify whether the files are approved by the Chief Minister or not. As per the Manual of Office Procedure 2022, the officers can send files to the Governor only after signed by the CM. Saxena said that for facilitating easy and flexible governance, switching to online facilities can also be accepted.
The Governor informed this in the midst of a CBI investigation over a scam in the new excise policy filed against the Deputy Chief Minister. CBI already found Sisodia as the primary culprit in the case.
