Kochi: The High Court will re-consider the petition that was filed earlier by the KSRTC employees on a demand to ensure their salary. KSRTC will inform the court about the details of ministerial talks held in the last days.
Last time while hearing the petition, the single bench had expressed deep displeasure over the non-payment of salaries to the employees for the month of July despite the court order.
The High Court has warned that if the order is not implemented, contempt of court action will be taken against the CMD. KSRTC had asked for 10 days more time to pay the last month’s salary, but the salary has not been paid yet. The extra time granted by the court to KSRTC to pay the last month’s salary ended on 22nd.
