Thiruvananthapuram: Governor stands firm in the criticism against Kannur VC and government. No action has yet been taken against Irfan Habeeb who tried for an attack in the History Conference. Governor also alleged that the government’s silence is a proof of the conspiracy.
Habib had opposed the Prime Minister’s speech in Aligarh. But he doesn’t have the courage to stop the Prime Minister because Yogi Adityanath is the CM there. He said that Irfan Habib’s protest was based on the courage that the Kerala government would not take any action.
The conspiracy took place in Delhi. Kannur VC is also involved in this. He has sent letters thrice but in vain. The reply received was that he could not report as he was not a security expert, said the Governor.
The governor warned that he knows what to do if the constitutional machinery collapses. The Governor has reiterated that he will not sign the University Amendment Bill. The aim behind the bill is clear. The governor added that the motive is to appoint relatives of the leaders.
