5G service from October 12 in country; Central Government with crucial announcement

NewDelhi: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav informed that 5G service will be available in the country from 12th October. He also said that the service will be accessible at an affordable price within 3 years.

Last month, the central government completed the process including the 5G auction. About one and a half lakh crores of rupees were sold through the auction. In the first phase, 5G service will be available in cities. In the upcoming phases, the service will be extended to towns and villages.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav stated that the telecom companies have completed the technical steps to start the 5G service. Bharti Airtel, VI, Reliance Jio and Adani Group have acquired spectrum in the auction for 5G service.

It is hinted that the 5G service will be available in the cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Pune in the initial phase. 5G is expected to be 20 times faster than 4G. With the arrival of 5G, the internet services in the country can be taken to a new level.
