NewDelhi: What action was taken on the complaint against K T Jaleel in anti-national remarks, the court asked the Delhi Police. Additional Metropolitan Magistrate of Delhi Rose Avenue Court Harjeet Singh Jaspal asked the Tilak Marg Police Station SHO for the report.
Advocate G S Mani approached the court demanding that a case be filed against KT Jaleel on charges including sedition. K T Jaleel has called for anti-national activities by making Azad Kashmir reference. In this situation, the petition demands that Jaleel be charged with sedition and strong legal action be taken. Meanwhile, the Delhi Police has informed the complainant G S Mani that sub-inspector Rahul Ravi has been appointed as the investigating officer.
K T Jaleel made anti-national remarks through a Facebook post. The phrase Azad Kashmir in the post was highly controversial. Subsequently, many political organizations and leaders, including the BJP, came forward against Jaleel.
