Geneva: India has so far shipped 40,000 tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan and thus playing an important role in solving the food crisis of Afghanistan. Ruchira Kamboji, a permanent member of the UN Security Council, clarified India’s help.
India has taken all measures to ensure the security and stability of its neighbor and long-time partner, Afghanistan. India’s history and culture are mingled with the Afghan people. India has exported medicines and food items to Afghanistan. About 32 tons of medicines and equipment were exported. Five lakh corona vaccines were given to the country.
Medical equipment and medicines were handed over to the World Health Organization and the Indira Gandhi Children’s Hospital in Kabul. Apart from all this, India has also exported 40,000 tons of wheat, Ruchira Kamboji added.
