Chandigarh: The Delhi Police has registered a case under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act against those arrested in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. A case has been registered against Sachin Tapan and Anmol Bishneyi under UAPA.
Tapan was arrested from Azerbaijan and Bishnoi from Kenya. The accused were arrested while the police investigation was in progress. Police investigation revealed that Canada-based goonda gang leader Goldie Brar was the mastermind behind the murder. The accused were arrested for helping the gang. The investigation also revealed that the accused had left the country after the murder. Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in a village in Mansa on May 29. He died within 15 minutes of the attack.
