Kochi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the launch of various development projects in Kerala. He laid foundation stone for the second phase of Kochi Metro. He also flagged off the train from NS Junction.
He initiated the renovation work of railway development projects of Ernakulam Junction, Ernakulam, Town Station and Kollam Station. Electrification of Kollam-Punalur road was dedicated to the nation.
He also initiated the development of the Kuruppanthara-Kottayam-Chingavanam section. He flagged off Kottayam-Ernakulam special train and Kollam-Punalur special train.
The Prime Minister said that the project of 4600 crores will be submitted as an Onam gift to Kerala. He also stated that a great development goal is being set for the next 25 years.
