Islamabad: Loss continues in the extreme rainfall and wind in Pakistan. About 1300 people have died in the intense rainfall so far. As per the figures of Pakistan Disaster Management Authority, 29 people have died in the last 24 hours.
Many people who lived in the Sindh province lost their lives in the rainfall that started from the month of June. 180 people from Sindh, 138 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 125 from Baluchistan died in the rain. The country faces a loss of 10 billion dollars too.
The rescue operations are being continued by the volunteer workers in the country and various agencies under the Government of Pakistan. Around five lakh families have been relocated. 33 million people were affected by the flood.
As per media reports, 25000 rupees will be given to those who lost everything in the rain and flood.
