New Delhi: Sheikh Hasina, the PM of Bangladesh praised Narendra Modi over the nations position on both the Covid and Ukraine crisis. She specially thanked him for the vaccine Maithri scheme. She also congratulated Modi for his action that saved the students stranded in Ukraine during the war.
Crores of vaccine doses were sent to the neighbouring countries under the scheme Maithri Vaccine. Modi took appropriate actions in Covid period. Vaccine Maithri was a remarkable idea. Apart from Bangladesh, it has provided vaccines for several other nations too, said Hasina. She also expressed her gratitude.
Hasina mentioned that the students of both India and Bangladesh were saved from Ukraine through Operation Ganga. Modi had maintained a friendly relationship in both situations and the friendship will be continued in the future too.
Hasina added that India is a trust worthy companion that gives importance to the mutual cooperation.
