New Delhi: Nitish Kumar said that he is not wishing to be the Prime Minister candidate and the news spreading regarding this were fake. He said this while talking to the media after attending a meeting with Sitaram Yechury, the general secretary of CPM.
He said that he is not eligible to be the Prime Minister candidate and the decision will be taken by the party after a combined discussion. He also said that the media should stop making stories out of their imagination.
He opined that the meeting with Sitaram Yechury was a great experience and will consider suggestions from such personalities in the future ventures too. He commented that BJP can be defeated if the opposition parties joined together and such topics were discussed in the meeting held with Rahul Gandhi.
Apart from Yechury, Nitish conducted discussions with people including the former CM and JDS leader H D Kumaraswamy and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. He added saying that the great coalition will act against BJP in the 2024 election.
