Thiruvananthapuram: Red alert has been issued for three districts in the state as the IMD predicted very heavy rain in Wayanad, Kannur and Kasargod.
Orange alert, indicating very heavy rains from 6 cm to 20 cm of rain, is being issued for districts from Pathanamthitta to Kozhikkode. The weather department has predicted that the state will witness rain for three more days.
People living in hilly areas and in coastal areas are advised to keep vigil.
