New Delhi: Union Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman said that a new bill to secure individual’s personal details will be out soon. She also revealed that the actions on this regard have already been developing under the leadership of the minister of information technology, Ashwini Vaishnav. She assured that the new bill will give clarity on all the existing doubts on the security of information.
The Central Government had recently withdrawn the personal information protection bill, 2019. Ashwini Vaishnav informed the Lok Sabha that the bill was withdrawn due to the recommendation of the joint parliamentary committee. Following this, the Ministry of IT had published a draft on Data anonymization.
The nation is on its path of development and the country has been giving more importance to the financial and employment sector, said the union finance minister in the India-US business council.
